Portable Winch Winch PCW4000

The new PCW4000 winch is equipped with a quick release automatic anti roll-back mechanism (ARM). The PCW4000 winch is NOT designed for lifting due to it is a consumer product, destined to be used by people who are not trained for lifting. The anti roll-back mechanism is supplied to add functionality in pulling objects that can roll back: rolling objects in an incline or objects being pulled on steep slopes. It can be used to lift a load slightly off the ground (1-2 meters), hold it in position, and then lower it using friction on the drum (ex: big game into a trailer). It can also maintain a tree under tension when directional felling or perform other load retaining applications. But, unlike the PCH series winches, the PCW4000 has no safety mechanism to prevent a suspended load from falling if the rope is disengaged from the cleat

Design

This model is powered by the new Honda GX50 4-stroke 360° inclinable engine. It also has a centrifugal clutch that activates when you pull the rope. When the rope is released, the drum stops spinning and the ARM does its job by holding the load in position! To disengage the rope from the mechanism, a simple lateral movement is all it takes! Here is a light, powerful, safe and very easy winch to operate.

Performance

The PCW4000 develops a remarkable pulling force of 1,000 kg without mechanical advantage. By adding a pulley system, you can go up to five times (5x) the pulling force. That means, with two double pulleys, you could pull up to 5,000 kg!
